Common questions

Are these tools really free?

Yes. Every tool and guide here is free to use. Most need no account or email address; the voiceover maker, video editor, CRM, design studio, floor plan maker, appointment practice and flipbook share links need a free OfferBacked account. OfferBacked earns money from agents who choose to sponsor ZIP codes, which is optional.

Where do the ZIP code numbers come from?

Sales, prices and days on market come from Redfin’s public housing data. Counts of homes, owners and renters are Census Bureau estimates. Each tool notes its sources and the period covered.

Do you keep what I type in?

No. The tools work from what you enter and don’t store it, and nothing you type is added to a mailing list. Tools that take names or phone numbers send them in the body of the request, not in the page address.

Is the compliance information legal advice?

No. It is general information to help you spot issues. Advertising rules vary by state and brokerage, so check with your broker or an attorney before relying on it.

OfferBacked is not affiliated with Zillow, Realtor.com, Meta, Google, the U.S. Postal Service or the National Association of REALTORS®.
