1:24 · soft musicTurning walkthrough clips into a listing video: room titles with a floor plan map, ZIP code numbers, a contact page, music, subtitles, and vertical, square and MLS-safe versions.
What it does
- Trim, split and speed upCut each clip down to its best part, put clips in order, speed through hallways and stairs, and add cross-fades, slides or wipes between them.
- Room titles and a floor plan mapAdd a label like “Kitchen · 14′ × 12′”, pinned to the moment the room comes into view. Link your floor plan from the 3D Floor Plan Maker and a small map shows which room you’re in.
- Background musicPick a track and it fades in and out by itself and dips whenever you or a voiceover are talking. Spotlight and Directory agents can use their own music.
- SubtitlesType them, import an .srt file, or make a voiceover right in the editor and get its subtitles timed for you. Download them as an .srt file for YouTube.
- Photos, pages and colorAdd listing photos with a slow zoom, pages for the title, price and details or highlights, and brighten or warm up dark clips.
- ZIP code market numbersAdd a page of your ZIP code’s numbers, like median sale price, days on market and sale-to-list price, that count up on screen.
- Contact page with a QR codeEnd with your photo, name, brokerage and phone, and a QR code to the listing or your website.
- Every size, and an MLS-safe copySave landscape for YouTube, vertical for Reels and TikTok, and square, framing each clip for each one, plus an unbranded copy for MLS virtual tours. It all happens in your browser, so your videos never upload.

Common questions
Is the video editor free?
Yes. Any agent with a free OfferBacked account can make and save videos and keep up to 10 edits saved. Videos from free accounts end with a small “Made with OfferBacked” line in the corner for the last few seconds. Agents with a Spotlight or Directory ad can keep up to 100 edits, save videos without that line, use their own music and use the colors and logo from their Design Studio brand kit.
Do my videos upload anywhere?
No. Your video, photo and sound files stay on your computer: the editor plays them and saves the finished video in your browser. We keep the edit itself (your cut points, titles, subtitles, pages and settings) in your account. When you open a saved edit, choose the same files again and the editor matches them by name.
Which browser works best?
Chrome or Edge on a computer. They save the finished video fastest: photos and pages are drawn quickly, and each video clip plays through once. Safari and Firefox save by playing the whole video once in real time. Either way, keep the tab open and in front until it’s done.
Which video files can I use?
Any video your browser can play, which covers MP4 and MOV files from most phones and cameras. Some iPhone videos use a format (HEVC) that Chrome can’t play on every computer; if a clip won’t open, try Safari, or set your phone to record in “Most Compatible” format.
How long can a video be?
Up to 20 minutes, though most walkthrough videos work best at one to three minutes. Speed up the in-between parts, like hallways and stairs, and keep each room to a few seconds.
Can I use any music?
Our tracks are made for OfferBacked and you can use them in listing videos and ads. If you add your own music, use only music you have the rights to use in advertising.
Where do the ZIP code numbers come from?
Sale prices, days on market and sale-to-list prices come from Redfin’s public data for the ZIP code; home age, owner-occupied homes and walkability come from the Census Bureau and the EPA. They describe the ZIP code as a whole, not the home in the video, and the page says where they came from.
Can I make vertical videos for Reels and TikTok?
Yes. Edit once, then save a vertical 9:16 version and a square 1:1 version as well as the landscape one. Switch the preview to vertical to choose how each clip is framed: fill the frame and pan across the room, or show the whole picture over a soft blurred background.
Can I put the video on the MLS?
Most MLSs don’t allow agent names, logos, phone numbers or web addresses in a virtual tour. Tick “MLS-safe landscape” when you save, and you get a copy without your contact page, logo, QR codes or our credit line. The editor points out text that looks like contact details, and you should still check your voiceover and your MLS’s own rules.
What does the wording check do?
Before you save the video, the editor checks your titles, pages and subtitles for words and phrases that can cause fair housing problems, explains why, and suggests a rewrite. It flags common phrases only and isn’t legal advice.
