Common questions
How does 3D virtual staging work?
Import the listing’s floor plan picture (or draw the rooms), name the rooms, then pick a style and press Stage the rooms. Each living room, bedroom, dining room and office is furnished from the catalog at real sizes, with space to walk around the pieces. Then make pictures of each room and download them.
Is it free?
Yes, for agents with a free OfferBacked account, using your saved floor plans (5 free, 100 for Spotlight and Directory agents). Pictures from free accounts carry a small “Made with OfferBacked” mark; Spotlight and Directory agents’ pictures don’t.
Can I use staged pictures in my MLS listing?
Most MLSs allow virtually staged pictures if they’re clearly labeled and don’t misrepresent the property; many also want an unstaged picture of each staged room. Every picture made here is marked “Virtually staged.” Check your MLS’s rules, and never use staging to hide defects or change the home itself.
Are these photos of the home?
No. They’re 3D renderings of the floor plan with furniture, so they show layout and scale rather than the home’s real finishes. They work best next to real listing photos, for example of a vacant home.
Can I stage just one room?
Yes. Untick the rooms you don’t want, and tick “Take out the furniture that’s there now” only if you want the room emptied first.
These use the same saved floor plans as the 3D Floor Plan Maker.
