Virginia Housing Down Payment Assistance Grant

It can be combined with non-Virginia Housing assistance, but not with the Plus Second Mortgage or the Closing Cost Assistance Grant. A separate Closing Cost Assistance Grant of up to 2% is available with Virginia Housing VA and USDA loans.

Who qualifies: First-time buyers (unless buying in a targeted area); lower income limits than Virginia Housing’s standard limits; at least a 1% down payment.

Virginia Housing Plus Second Mortgage
