These terms apply to real estate agents and brokers who buy sponsored listings on OfferBacked (“sponsorships”).
Who can advertise
You must hold an active real estate license in the state of each ZIP code you sponsor, and you may only advertise services you’re licensed to provide. Mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers and loan originators can’t buy sponsorships. We verify licenses before a sponsorship goes live and may re-check them at any time.
What you get
A sponsored card showing your name, brokerage, license, contact buttons and profile on the market pages for the ZIP codes you choose and in our agent directory for those ZIP codes. Cards are labeled “Sponsored.” When several agents sponsor the same ZIP code, cards are shown in random order and we don’t guarantee a number of views, calls or clients. We don’t tell you how many other agents sponsor a ZIP code.
Pricing and billing
You pay a flat monthly fee per ZIP code: $10 each for 1 to 4 ZIP codes, $8 each for 5 to 9, and $7 each for 10 or more, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Billing starts when your sponsorship goes live. Changes to your ZIP codes are prorated. Fees never depend on leads, clients or closings, and we don’t pay or receive referral fees.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Your cards stay live until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
Your content
You’re responsible for the accuracy of your card and profile and for complying with advertising rules in your state, including brokerage disclosure. Don’t include content that is false or misleading, or that expresses a preference or limitation based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin or any other protected characteristic. We may edit or remove content that breaks these rules.
Buyer information
We don’t sell buyer information. Buyers contact you directly by phone, through your website, or with the message form on your profile; we forward those messages to your email with the buyer’s address as the reply-to. Use a buyer’s details only to respond to their inquiry and as the law allows, and don’t add them to marketing lists without their consent. Your dashboard shows counts of times shown, profile views, calls, website clicks and messages.
Suspension
We may pause or end a sponsorship if a license lapses, a payment fails and isn’t fixed, or these terms are broken. If we end a sponsorship for reasons other than a breach by you, we’ll refund the unused part of the period.
